Steetzel, H.J. Date 1997-12-05 Abstract Dune erosion during storms is a dynamical process. Failure of a dune to protect the hinterland flooding depends on the loads (sea level, wave height) and duration of these loads. This study investigates the description of the statistics of the load histories of extreme storms for load modelling on dunes.
