Architecture for forensic psychiatric care is about the fitted architecture for a specific target group which is in need of security AND a treatment environment. The research, partly literature, partly design, is focused on finding the best environment for these patients. The contracts between being locked down and feeling at home plays a central role. The result is a research on how to build for forensic psychiatric care and an example on how to implement these diverse contrasting requirements.
