(editor) Fomel, S. (editor) Date 2017 Abstract In a time-lapse experiment, changes in a reservoir cause changes in the reflection response. We discuss a method which predicts these changes from the baseline survey and a model of the changed reservoir. This method, which takes all multiplescattering into account, is significantly more efficient than modeling the response of the entire medium containing the changed reservoir. This can be particularly attractive for applications in time-lapse full wave form inversion, which requiresrepeated modelling of the reflection response.
