Corporate name TU Braunschweig Project Floodsite Date 2009-05-01 Abstract The purpose of this report is to identify messages from the FLOODsite pilot studies that might be helpful to Policy makers who are responsible for the implementation of the EC Floods Directive. The main requirement identified in this review is the need to develop guidance for methods to implement the Floods Directive based on the results of the FLOODsite pilot studies and other relevant work. Whilst tools and techniques have been demonstrated, it will be important to ensure that the most appropriate methods are applied taking account of local conditions, required outputs, data requirements and available resources.
