The Ecobeach project is a newly invented method to defend the coast against erosion. Ecobeach is a coastal defense system based on the principle of passively draining the beach. This Thesis looks into possible morphological changes induced by the Ecobeach test at Egmond aan Zee performed by Rijkswaterstaat and BAM.
