Improving the pre-outfit strategy for a shipbuilding project: Generation of a more detailed outfit schedule in the pre-contract phase

This research is about the development of a method that can be used by a yard in the pre-contract phase to determine the best production strategy concerning the outfitting processes. It is expected that this reduces the amount of delays, waiting times and rework activities.
