Faculty Civil Engineering and Geosciences Department Hydraulic Engineering Date 1991-12-01 Abstract Bed-levelling experiments are conducted in a straight laboratory channel. The experiments involve a significant fraction of suspended sediment transport. The purpose of the experiments is to provide data for modelling of the direction of sediment transport on a transverse sloping alluvial river bed, specifically in presence of suspended sediment transport. The transverse slope parameter for these experiments is determined.
