Abstract

The Project is started with the doubt whether the Olympic Games will bring benefits not only to the city but also to the locals. In order to promote the urban development towards social integration to achieve the mayor's vision of London that a global city with economic growth, social inclusivity and improved environment in the five deprivest borough of London, the project is trying to create a new centrality in order to attract global people from outside to interact with the local people based on the existing situation and the opportunity of Olympic Master Plan, meanwhile, improve the living conditions of the local communities. For this goal, a study on the centralities of London is made to get the spatial layout of the centrality and do an urban design based on the research.
