Abstract

This contribution deals with aerodynamic optimization using dynamic mesh method provided by Fluent software. A method of transformation of coordinates and an optimization procedure enabling to obtain arbitrary shape of computing mesh are described. This method was developed for shape optimization of axisymmetric ejector in order to obtain the highest efficiency of the whole device. A result of using this method is a series of ejector shapes for different relative back pressure values. Resulting values of efficiency of optimized ejectors, optimal area ratios, optimal ejection ratios and velocity ratios are presented. An analysis of mixing in optimized ejector is carried out.
