Abstract
Simulation of reservoir operations is important to investigate the effects of climate change and changes in human water demands on water availability in the future. Several reservoir simulation models exist, however it is unknown in which situations what type of model could be applied. This study tries to give an answer to the question how individual reservoir operations can be modelled by using a combination of available reservoir simulation models and easy-to-obtain data.
