Abstract
In addition to the standard 3-GP-O titration procedure, two alternate methods for determining the fuel soluble icing inhibitor content of aviation fuels, have been suggested. These methods are also suitable for field use. An evaluation of the three procedures has therefore been conducted. Results obtained show that the Seiscor differential refractometer is suitable for field and laboratory use. The other alternate procedure, based on freezing point measurements, was found to give low results.
