Abstract

This report describes a preliminary structural analysis of 2 complete fuselages, both belonging to the jet airliner category and differing for passenger capacity: 100 and 350 passengers respectively; the analysis is done for a set of loading conditions considered relevant for the aircraft category, and is aimed to provide data for material selection for different areas of the fuselage.
