Abstract

The paper is about the development of a MOOC on the flooding of the river Vltava in the Czech country. The MOOC has been designed as a serious game. Students from all over the world are invited to take part in the management team to reduce the negative impact of the flooding. The MT has to take decisions about evacuation, building barriers and opening of dams upwards the river. Members of the MT negotiate via social media. The design and the implementation of the MOOC will be presented in the paper and the first results of experiments.
