Abstract
The assignment behind this design project and the accompanying research paper is to develop a university building that supports a wide range of interactions between its users, specifically student–student, student–teacher, and teacher–student relationships. The project focuses on circulation spaces as the central spatial element, transforming them into areas that support interaction while offering varying degrees of territorial control. These different levels of openness and privacy aim to enable diverse forms of engagement between students and teachers.
The project is situated within the School of Economics at the Bocconi Campus in Milan.
