Abstract
In this paper, we consider the aggregation equation and global in time solutions for this equation when the potential is radially symmetric, attractive-repulsive with possible polynomial growth at infinity and the initial data is compactly supported. We will discuss certain aspects of the existence of nonsingular steady states of the equation for these type of potentials based on numerical results in the radially symmetric case.
