Abstract

The adminstrators of urban security and terrorists are in an endless loop of self-reinforcement and adaptation fueled by the serendipitous nature of contemporary terrosism. This thesis questions the role of the architect as a facilitator of products of the industrial military complex in the field of urban security and attempts to explore ways in which they can approach the subject differently using their particular set of skills, that would lead to a more sustainable ways of going forward.
