Abstract

This "designers' manual" is made during the TIDO-course AR0531 Smart & Bioclimatic Design. The use of biogas has gained importance in recent years, since it is compatible to the environment, and cheap or free raw materials are available. It can also be a good substitute energy source for the more expensive petroleum products for everyday activities. Biodigesters provide a relatively simple alternative for waste management. This document can be used as a starting guide in the use of biogas: basic information for implementation, architectural criteria examples are provided.
