Abstract

In this Thesis the Disonctinuous Galerkin method has been examined in one and two dimensions applied to a general transport equation. Also a generic two phase flow in a porous medium model has been constructed where a coupling between Dicontinuous Galerkin and the finite element method is used. Finally this model is used for the storage of cold and hot water in the soil as cooling and heating for the faculty EEMCS.
