Abstract

As the number of aircraft movements increases around Schiphol, and other airports alike, questions are being raised about the environmental impact of the aircraft movements. One of the questions about the environmental impact of aircraft operations is the validity of aircraft noise prediction models. This research focuses on the validation of the input parameters for the ECAC Doc.29 aircraft noise model by combining flight data with aircraft noise measurements.
