Abstract

Geotubes and geocontainers (Nicolon patent) hydraulicaliy and/or meclianically filled with (dredged) materials have been successfully applied in coastal engineering in recent years. They can also be used to store and isolate contaminated materials from harbour dredging. Some informations on these systems are given in this document.
