Abstract

Schiphol is growing. The growing number of aircrafts will lead to more handling services, like baggage handling, catering etc. These handling vehicles use the network system on airside. At the moment, no facts were presented about the performance of these network. Are there too many vehicles on airside? Or not? That is the focus of this research. The goal of this research is to get insight in the performance of the network with all the types of vehicles by using a decision tool (VISSIM).
