For this model a diffusion coefficient was determined as well as a rate function for the large deviations. This same model is also applied to electrons, although these particles are not active a diffusion coefficient was also found numerically. Finally there is a section on finding the ground state energy of drifting particles with a Hubbard-U term using diffusion Monte Carlo Subject Active particleslarge deviationsdriftMarkov processesBrownian motion To reference this document use: http://resolver.tudelft.nl/uuid:2839a028-9148-4cba-ba65-dba4fe2d70be Part of collection Student theses Document type bachelor thesis Rights © 2019 Bart van Gisbergen Files PDF BEP_Bart_van_Gisbergen_8_1_.pdf 1.18 MB Close viewer /islandora/object/uuid:2839a028-9148-4cba-ba65-dba4fe2d70be/datastream/OBJ/view
