This involves examining the case of a single system to analyse on a micro-level the underlying conditions affecting performance, as well as exploring W2H farms to observe performance and the effects of changing conditions on a macro-level. To this end, MATLAB models have been utilised and developed to simulate various components of a system, such as wind turbines and electrolysers, focusing on aspects like hydrogen production and the number of breakdowns per year. The model creates insights into technical and economic parameters.
