Abstract

This bachelor report describes the creation of a fun and informative robot game for the Science Centre Delft. The project entails simulating the classic Pacman computer game using real robots. One robot, Pacman, is controlled by a player and has to fulfil certain assignments. Simultaneously the other robots, monsters, try to catch Pacman. A camera captures the movements of all the robots and with the help of image processing the camera input is used to run a control program. The same image is also used to display information on monitors. This gives the player and other visitors an insight in the inner workings of the game.
