Als doel heeft het ontwerp om de 'Buik van Amsterdam' te transformeren naar de huidige tijd en daarbij aandacht te vragen voor de belasting die de huidige voedselindustrie op de aarde heeft. Het ontwerp is vormgegeven als een stad in een hal met volumes, straten en pleinen en waar de plantenkassen een prominente rol spelen.
