Contributor Schoute, F.C. (mentor) Awater, G.A. (mentor) Faculty Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science Department Telecommunicatie- en Verkeersbegeleidingssystemen Date 1993-08-10 Abstract At the Telecommunications and Traffic Control Systems Department a lot of research is done in the fields of future (broadband) telecommunication networks and components. With this, performance analysis plays a very important role to predict the behaviour of such networks and components under different traffic conditions. In this graduation report the results will be described of a study of simputation, which is a new technique that enables performance analysis of systems with random, nonstationary traffic and very small loss probabilities.
