 Abstract

The preparation of an anhydride amine adduct from phthalic anhydride and methylenedianiline and its use as a cross-linking agent is presented. The exotherms and cross-linking times (or a variety of reacting compositions have been determined. The results of a study on the effect of process conditions on the tensile strength, elongation, and modulus of elasticity are reported.
