This Thesis explores the contrasts between the work of Minnette de Silva and her perception due to male biases. It starts with explaining the architectural scene of Sri Lanka during the entry of Minnette to the scene, then moves on to exploring the key architectural features of her work through selected case studies. Finally, through multiple written sources, the male biases in her perception are explored, and compared to her true self as a professional.
