This research explores various mobility measures in the battle with excessive nitrogen deposition. It comprises a case study research of two study areas in the Netherlands with Natura2000. By employing the MOVE Meter as a quickscan tool with traffic modelling, effective local mobility measures have been identified. Establishing a no-entry zone emerged as the most effective measure for the reduction of nitrogen deposition due to its proximity to natural areas, highlighting the significance of spatial factors. This research also revealed modelling constraints related to the implementation of emission factors in traffic modelling.
