This research examines three approaches to recognize intertextuality. Two of them are novel because of their involving of the special features. The first approach uses multiple distance metrics. These distance metrics measures the similarity between strings. The second approach uses high-level grammatical features. These features are based on grammatical characteristics of the text. The third approach involves the scale of language. Each sentence can be divided into lower scales, first into clauses, then into phrases and finally into words. This approach measures the distance of texts on these scales to find the exact intertextuality.
