A research on the problems within the development aid scope in Mount Elgon (Kenya). In the research developers are compared to the local inhabitants. Which problems they address and how they conflict together. As a conclusion guidelines are formulated which form the action points that should be death with in future development. The design project focussed on three different scales, from urban scale (120 households), to village (10-15 households) and finally to the single family compound.
