This paper presents the preliminary design of the Post Oil Global Airliner, which is a intercontinental aircraft that is feasible for 120 passengers developed to achieve zero petroleum fuel dependence and help meet 2050 net-zero aviation targets. Operating only on the Bio Based Sustainable Aviation Fuel, the POGA is designed for a maximum of 5530 km range. Through the evaluation using a Multidisciplinary Design Analysis and Optimization (MDAO) framework, a selected configuration came up to be a Blended Wing Body. The design features above body turbofan engines and a multibubble pressure shell. The study concludes that the POGA is economically perspective concept through the market analysis. While there is a lot of challenges, such as stability control and pressure shell integrity, no fundamental engineering blockages were identified.
