Renate G. Klaassen, born in the Netherlands, has a BSc and MSc in English Language and Literature at Leiden University. She graduated as a Doctor from TU Delft in 2001, addressing the Challenges of learning and teaching in English medium Instruction in Higher Education. She currently is Senior Researcher at the Delft Institute of Applied Mathematics (Prime-group) and Senior Policy advisor for PhD policies at the Policy and Implementation Unit, both at TU Delft.
