Abstract

The special issue of the International Conference on Road Safety and Simulation, which was held in Den Haag, The Netherlands, on 17-19 October, 2018. Road Safety and Simulation is a bi-annual platform for researchers and professionals from various disciplines to share their expertise and latest insights in the field of road safety and simulation. Authors of the best conference papers have been invited to extend their manuscripts and submit to this special issue. 37 selected papers have been reviewed; topics include crash risk factors, crash prediction, safety evaluation methods, and surrogate safety measures. Readers can take advantage of these exciting and innovative works to understand new and emerging trends within Cyberworlds.
