Abstract
De James Bond-film ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’ uit 1977 had een opvallende bijrol voor een hagelwitte Lotus Esprit. Dankzij enige ‘customizing’ door Q Branch gaf deze sportauto zelfs onder water de slechteriken het nakijken. De amfibische ombouw was nog snel uitgevoerd ook, want de Esprit kwam slechts één jaar eerder op de markt, in 1976 (afbeelding 1).
