Abstract

This paper considers new possibilities of turbulence intensity retrieval by using Doppler and Doppler-polarimetric radar sounding. Pecularities of microwave scattering on moving droplets of different size and shape underlie new methods that are introduced, discusssed, and checked by using radar data.
