Abstract

Detailed investigation of the hydraulics and morphology of the lower part of the Rio Magdalena and the canal del Dique in Colombia. Detailed description of the used methodology of hydrographic and morphological survey techniques. Background of the river morphology of the region. The investigation has the aim to act as a basis for river training and improvement of inland navigation in Colombia.
