Abstract

We are pleased to present this special issue to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Society for Designand Process Science. This issue is dedicated to the memory of Nobel Laureate Steven Weinberg. Togetherwith other visionaries, including George Kozmetsky, Herbert A. Simon, Lotfi A. Zadeh, C. V.Ramamoorthy, and Raymond T. Yeh, he offered strong support for the Society's mission and vision.
