Abstract
Sounds always occur ‘somewhere’, endowed with specific material ‘qualities’ that also indicate courses of action. Spatio-temporal qualities of sound, the contexts they enmesh, together with the attentions they sustain and actions they enfold, collectively constitute dynamic systems termed ‘circuits’.
