Abstract

In this work we present a 340 GHz volumetric radar imager with 1 cm
3
voxel resolution and multi-hertz frame rate. The radar uses a sparse focal plane array of 16 transceivers and mechanical scanning to achieve real beam imaging of people for future aviation security applications.
