Abstract

In the city of Casablanca, informal adaptation to the build environment are made on a daily basis. This shows the beautiful capacity of the users to adapt their environment to their own needs. Nevertheless in the need for more space, core qualities of architecture like light and ventilation can be compromised. In this research and design project I searched for a formal framework that preserves this qualities and, at the same time, creates space for the users to form their own environment.
