Institution National Aerospace Laboratory NLR Date 1980-04-30 Abstract A survey is given of past, current and planned work at NLR in the field of wind-tunnel wall interference on models at high angles of attack at lowsubsonic speeds. Among the new long-term research activities those concerning slotted-wall test sections play a dominant part. It is felt that an approach which makes use of measured distrihutions of flow quantities near the walls is the most promising one. It may be recommended also as a short-term solution for some special wall correction problems arising from modern low-speed wind-tunnel testing in closed test sections.
