Institution National Aerospace Laboratory NLR Date 1973-08-29 Abstract A computer model for the dispersion of air pollution is described. Assumptions are made such that the concentration of pollutants in the plume of a constant emitting point source has a Gaussian distribution ('Gaussian Plume'). The meteorological conditions are characterized by wind speed, wind direction, stability class and mixing depth. The sources of pollution are represented by point line and area sources, Finally some areas in which limited knowledge affects the implimentation of airport dispersion modeling are indicated.
