(mentor) Faculty Applied Sciences Department Electrical Engineering Programme Telecommunications and Traffic Control Systems Group Date 1990-07-24 Abstract In this thesis an overview is made of existing methods of decomposing a radar target into a number of parts. From literature methods are taken to decompose into time dependent- and time independent parts. A new method is explored to decompose into a number of simple scatterers. All methods are applied to measurements from literature, and from DARR.
