Pool, A. Willekens, A.J.L. Institution National Aerospace Laboratory NLR Date 1983-04-15 Abstract The STALINS method calculates the trajectories from the outputs of an inertial sensing system. The principle of the method is described and a comparison is made with the results obtained from onboard cameras and a radio altimeter from 200 take-off and landing flight tests. The comparison shows that the STALINS method is at least as accurate as the other methods and meets its design goals. Revised edition.
