Estimation of the precipitation recycling ratio

Some of the most cited analytical and numerical models that estimate the precipitation recycling ratio are used, and their results are compared. Also a simplified method that calculates the monthly recycling ratio from values of local evaporation is developed and tested for the U.S. Midwest.
