Police organisations wordwide struggle with the implementation of intelligence-led policing (ILP). This research aims to identify organisational factors that affect the state of implementation of ILP in the Dutch police force. From a multiple-case study research multiple factors have been identified that affect the functioning of ILP. These findings are integrated into a maturity model. By means of the maturity model the factors can be assessed, priorities for improvement can be determined and targeted improvement strategies can be derived. The findings can help police organisations to improve the implementation of ILP.
