Abstract

The characteristics of a metal supported solid oxide fuel cell on methanol is analysed in as the power generator in a balance of plant consisting out of a reformer, combuster, heaters, pumps, turbines and tubes. The system is reviewed on performance regarding efficiency, power density, fuel utilization and viability for marine applications.
