Abstract
De grens van opschaling in de publieke sector is overschreden, vinden Jos Blank en Thomas Niaounakis. Bovendien worden de voordelen van fusies sterk overschat. Intergemeentelijke samenwerking biedt wel perspectief om van schaalvoordelen te profiteren.
