Abstract

This project focuses on dog-human bond. The lack of knowledge on how to educate and raise a dogs sometimes generates situations where the owner treats the pet as a human companion. Really often, the owner’s approach is based only on the parameters of human well-being and not on the ones of the animal. As a consequence, pet owners may (without being aware of it) unintentionally harm rather than ensuring the well-being of their pet. Although this way of approaching can be reflected in several aspects of human-dog relationship, a common one is appeared within the ‘feeding’ habit.

As a consequence, owners would feed their dogs referring to their own eating habits which might lead their dogs to gain weight. Because of that, dog owners need to be guided and learn how to get the right balance within the relationship with their canine companion.
In order to do so, a positive design approach is followed to develop the final solution.
